MARION COUNTY, MI – One person has died following a major two-car crash late Tuesday afternoon in north Indianapolis that injured three others, two critically.
The fatal wreck took place at East 62nd Street and North Sherman Drive, prompting a response from Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers at about 4:45 p.m.
The circumstances of the accident remain under investigation, but three people–the driver and two passengers–from one car were found severely injured. All three patients were transported by EMS crews to an area hospital, where one victim was pronounced deceased.
Officials said the driver of the other involved car received treatment at the scene.
